On Tuesday, March 23, 2010, the Greater Birmingham Association of Home Builders (GBAHB) will host our 37th Annual Builder Appreciation Night Trade Show. This one night event will take place from 5-9 PM at the Pelham Civic Complex and will feature food, fun and fellowship; three things our industry could really use!
The theme for the 2010 expo is “Going Green.” We don’t have to tell you that “green building” isn’t just a new buzz-word in our industry, but instead is becoming the new standard by which homes will be constructed in the future. In 2010 exhibitors are encouraged to highlight any “green” or “sustainable” qualities of their products and/or services.*
In addition to Builder Appreciation Night, GBAHB will also be holding a trade show that will be open to the general public in-conjunction with a 2010 Parade of Homes event we’re calling Green Home University. Scheduled for the Parade weekend dates (April 17, 18, 24 and 25), this exciting four-day event will give your company the chance to showcase your products and services to the general public at Viridian, a new home community in Vestavia and site of the 2010 Green Showcase Home and Green Home University. Companies who exhibit at Builder Appreciation Night will earn a discount off of the cost of exhibit space at Green Home University.
