    The Toys for Tots luncheon will be at 11:30 a.m. December 2nd at the Federal Reserve Bank in Liberty Park located at 524 Liberty Parkway Birmingham, AL 35242.   4. GBAHB Wins “Best Community Service Project” Award

    Greater Birmingham Association of Home Builders wins award for “Best Community Service Project” at the HBAA Annual Convention in Point Clear, Al. In April 2014, Tannehill Historical State Park located in McCalla, AL, sustained major damage to its infrastructure due to a flash flood. 2014 GBAHB President Jeremy Wright is a commissioner for the Alabama Historic Ironworks Commission and wanted to gather GBAHB members together to build picnic tables, which would replace the ones washed downstream during the flood.     Greater Birmingham Association of Home Builders wins award for “Best ABPAC Fund Raising Program” at the HBAA Annual Convention in Point Clear, AL. GBAHB entered Professional Women in Building’s Chili Cookoff under this category. The purpose of the Chili Cookoff was to raise funds for ABPAC.   6. PWB Raises Awareness for SafeHouse

    On Tuesday, November 4, 2014, the Professional Women in Building (PWB) council gathered at Counter Dimensions in Pelham, AL. The theme of this event was “Pino & PJ’s – A Holiday Charity Drive”. The purpose of this event was for council members and guests to come together and donate PJ’s to SafeHouse, an organization that provides residential services to women and children seeking refuge from abuse. About 30 women participated in Tuesday’s event and also contributed to donating $180 to SafeHouse. Read More
