LovetteBOTYLovetteBOTY 12374840_10153758418763686_2786130858136282865_oClint Lovette of Lovette Construction received the Al Awtrey Builder of the Year Award at the annual President’s Ball at Vestavia Country Club. Lovette was recognized for his many years of support to the GBAHB and the Birmingham home building industry.

Lovette grew up in Vestavia Hills, Ala., and attended Vestavia High School before going to the University of Alabama and receiving a degree in Business Management.  Lovette spent 10 years in a corporate business development position while remodeling three of his existing homes.  In 2005, he decided to take his passion for remodeling and design to the next level and founded Lovette Construction, a residential remodeling business.  He holds the Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) and Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist designations from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

In the 11 years in the industry, Lovette has been active with the GBAHB, serving as 1st Vice President, Remodelers Council Secretary, Home Tours Committee Chairman and Governmental Affairs Chairman. At a state level, Lovette serves as the State Remodelers Council Vice Chairman. At a national level, he serves as a National Director, a committee member on the NAHB Board of Directors and the Remodelers Council Board of Directors and is a member of the Young Professionals Committee.
