2021 Award Recipients

The Alabama Remodeling Excellence Awards (AREA) competition was founded by the Greater Birmingham Association of Home Builders Remodelers as a means of bringing greater recognition to Alabama’s remodeling professionals. Seeking to truly make this a statewide competition, in 2008 the GBAHB passed the torch to the Home Builders Association of Alabama (HBAA) Remodelers, who now plan and organize the competition.

The AREA competition celebrates the best of remodeling craftsmanship, innovation, and attention to detail. The competition is open to all remodelers, contractors, kitchen and bath specialists, and other remodeling industry professionals in Alabama.
